For other colors, just go to their website and use the 'enlarging' filter, then select the color you want.What makeup do you use?Tbh, anything you want, really. My brands are Judydoll, E.l.f, Maybelline, and Etude House. For my looks, it's just concealer, mascara, eyeliner, and some blush to tap on my cheeks and eyelids, then highlighter on my nose tip and down my nose bridge. Since I dislike wearing false lashes, I'll make my eyelashes look pointy using a tweezer to shape them out. I also do a subtle aegyosal with natural brown eyeshadow and lighten the under-eye area with a lighter base. I don't get too elaborate since I think less can look better than more with cosplay. I use Douyin makeup as inspiration.Where do you get cosplays?I use AliExpress 99% of the time. I've even bought from sellers with zero reviews and it was fine; it's safe to buy from, and you can easily get your money back if there's an issue, which I've had success with.Other than that, I occasionally import cosplay from Japanese Mercari using Buyee as a proxy service. I also sometimes buy second-hand within the U.S. through Mercari and Facebook groups for second-hand cosplay selling. Occasionally, I'll use eBay if I have to search far, but AliExpress is definitely what I use most. Skincare?The main treatments I use are Vitamin C serum in the morning, plus sunscreen ALWAYS. This makes your skin more sensitive; it will age you and give you spots if you do not wear sunscreen. Then at night, I use Tretinoin cream. This is prescription only, but you can get them on online pharmacies; just Google it! But if that's too expensive, just use an over-the-counter retinol serum. This has helped my skin clear up, smooth it out, and give it a shine.Moisturizer/cleanser is up to your skin type. You can Google how to figure out your skin type and search around for what skincare products fit it.What hair dye do you use?I get my hair professionally done at a salon about every 2-3 months, which you should always do if you are messing with bleach and dye and value your hair, haha. My hair stylist uses orange-red Paul Mitchell toner to color my hair. When my hair color starts to fade, I use colored conditioner to refresh the color. I use Keracolor copper colored conditioner.How long have you had long hair? How do you grow it out?Like, most of my life, besides being a kid in elementary school with shoulder-length hair. So when people ask me if it's hard to deal with, I wouldn't know the difference because I've had it so long.I don't cut it; that's basically it and the most straightforward answer. Of course, get healthy trims/dustings to touch up split ends/dead ends. Make sure to also get blood tests done to identify any deficiencies so you can take supplements for that, and eat a lot of protein; that all helps with hair growth.Haircare routine?My experience differs since I have straight, long, bleached, colored hair, so I have to put more care into it.The most important tip I recommend is: sleep in a silk bonnet, or use a silk pillowcase. The bonnet keeps your hair in place at night and prevents dead ends, frizziness, and keeps it untangled. Your hair is really fresh when you wake up. The silk pillowcase does the same thing if you have shorter hair and do not need to keep it in place.For bleached hair, I use K18 treatment after I shower. This is essential for anyone with colored/bleached hair since it has its own patent in treating damaged hair. You wash with shampoo only first, then apply it out of the shower. Anything else is really up to you. I use hair masks every time I shower and leave them in for 5-20 minutes. I love the Japanese Fino hair mask. I wash my hair only when it looks greasy, which is about every three days. I use detangling spray to brush my hair when I'm out of the shower so it dries straight. The detangling spray also works as a heat protectant, so I will let my hair dry about 70% and use a hair dryer then. I use hair oil and apply it on my ends when my hair is still damp out of the shower.I also use hair perfume; this also prevents lice, which is a big worry for anyone with long hair.How long have you been on social media for?I started posting on social media around 2019. My first platform was Twitter, where I began as a fan account for posting fan art and talking about video games, specifically Dragon Quest. I would post fan art to Amino and Reddit too. (I recommend this for anyone starting out on social media since those platforms do not require a following, so you aren't posting your stuff into the void.) If you scroll back on my Instagram, you can see that's where I started out. I also have an art gallery on my Ko-fi of my old work. As a result, I started doing cosplay to dress up as my favorite video game characters. I struggled a lot with mental health in school due to neurodivergent disorders, stress factors associated with them, and being bullied.
